Ms-dos functional keys, editing keys.

F1 copies on character from the buffer.F2 copies character up to specified character in the buffer to command line.F3 copies all the remaining characters from the buffer,from present position to end of the line.f4 skip all characters up to the specified character.f5 use the last edited line for further modification.f6 type end of the marker.dos commands are stored in a temporary memory location knows as buffer. some editing keys are are also available.ins inserts on or more characters in a line.del deletes the text character from the buffer.esc cancels this line and starts over.also does not change the contains of buffer.
